William (Billy) Street

About

Born and raised just outside St. Louis, Missouri, Billy honed his early golfing skills in the Midwest. He went on the play collegiate golf at Arizona State University, a program known for producing elite professionals. After college, Billy interned at The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT, and then transitioned into a role at New Haven Country Club in Hamden, CT in 2010. Starting as an assistant professional, he quickly climbed the ranks to become the Membership Director and Assistant Club Manager, while still competing in regional tournaments.

Billy finally became Head PGA Professional of Chris Bargas Golf Club in 2016.

Beyond competing, Billy has been deeply involved in golf instruction, club operations, and merchandising—serving key roles in fundraising through charity events totaling over $500,000. He has also held leadership positions in the Connecticut PGA Assistants Association, strengthening the pro community. Billy also balances his professional life with personal passions, as he is an avid saltwater fly fisherman.
